Our Story

Serenity Hills Life Center was established to address the need for compassionate, comprehensive addiction treatment for women in West Virginia. The center originally opened in 2019, providing a safe and supportive environment for women, including pregnant women, postpartum women, and mothers of minor children.

In May 2026, Serenity Hills Life Center reopened under new ownership and leadership, marking the beginning of a renewed chapter for the organization. With a strengthened vision and a continued commitment to quality care, the center is focused on creating a stable, welcoming, and person-centered environment where women can heal, grow, and build lasting foundations for recovery.

Today,

Serenity Hills provides individualized treatment and recovery support for women living with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. Our approach brings together behavioral health services, clinical care, life-skills development, peer support, family involvement, and thoughtful recovery planning tailored to each woman’s needs and goals.
